Detroit Dover offers state-of-the-art medical diagnostics, preventive
health care, routine checkups and surgical procedures.

Support Staff In addition to our doctors, Detroit Dover Animal Hospital is proud to have a support staff of licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary assistants and other trained professionals to aid in your pet’s care.  Our Licensed Technicians have all completed
American Veterinary Medical Association accredited
programs ending with either an associate’s degree or a Baccalaureate
degree. Their training has included: the proper collection of laboratory
samples, instruction on the proper nursing care, preparation of pets and
instruments for surgery, dental prophylaxes, correct and safe ways for
restraint and client education. Our technicians also complete the state
required continuing education classes to stay abreast of changing trends
and technologies.The rest of our support staff is comprised of quality caring individuals who are trained to assist you and the doctor in caring for your pet. Our receptionists are trained to assess each pets needs and schedule accordingly, also they are able to answer many questions so you do not have to wait for a doctor to call you back. The first requirement of working in the field of veterinary medicine is a love of animals and wanting to help in making their lives happy and healthy; our staff is dedicated to that.
